Buffs on the Bayou Garden Gala

This is my first trip back to Canyon Texas since I catered the inauguration of my GREAT friend Pat O'Brien in 2006. The day before the Buffs on the Bayou Garden Gala, I lectured at a Continuing Education class on the history and founding of New Orleans all the while, cooking some Cajun Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya. In the class I also had the class taste the differences in Tasso and a selection of Andouille sausages. (Sorry, no Pics)
The "Buffs on the Bayou" is a fund raiser for the WT Athletics Department. We were going to serve everyone off the back yard patio of the President's home, BUT..... it started to rain, so we moved everything into the garage. That was a feat!

As soon as we started to serve the food, the rain stopped! So everyone were able to eat outside and enjoy the cooler back yard patio.
