The Satchmo Club Strut is fast becoming one of New Orleans GREAT events.

The SATCHMO CLUB STRUT, is a club crawl in the Frenchmen Street music corridor. This is the NOJCC annual fundraiser that acts as a kick-off for the Satchmo Summerfest and is always held on the first weekend of August. Strutters pay one (CHEAP) price to be admitted to a number of New Orleans’ premiere music clubs, featuring top jazz bands honoring Louis Armstrong's Legacy for this one special night.

We helped donate to the VIP apartments and balcony for the event! I introduced our newest donation dish our Curried Chicken with Penne Pasta. We were sorta home based at MK's Apartment and Balcony, but we brought our Troops and worked at several locations. I had a small stovetop and table set up to work with! It was crowded but everything went well! Even videographer Mr. Hubie Vigreaux dropped by to give a hand in cooking (and EATING!!)

We even received a very glowing Thank You email from Ms. Laurie Toups of the NOJCC.

WOW, was it a FANTASTIC party!!
