I was very fortunate to be asked to donate to this great cause. Bill graduated a year before me at Archbishop Shaw. He and his wife Hazel have fallen on hard times, and I was asked by a mutual friend to help with the cooking. We did our Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya, Red Beans and Rice with Smoked Sausage, Nacho Cheese and Chips, Hot Dogs with Chili. THAT is all good bar food for a Sunday Afternoon dance!!!

Skeeter's Swamp Pop Band played along with the Country/Western group Mason Dixon in the newly renovated hall.

Everybody had a great time and I understand that they raised almost half enough money to buy Bill a chair lift for his van. HEY, That is a good bit along the way to make their life a little easier!
